Why “Chocolate Writing” ?

When I was first considering doing a blog along side NaNoWriMo – I wanted to call it = “It’s better to don’t”. This is a quote from my friend Geoffrey Farnham. The reason I chose it was because after a week of contemplating and plotting (revenge) – I decided = “it’s better to don’t”. This novel is to be a “hobby”, something positive to focus on that can help me forget (if only for a few hours a day) all the crap that is currently taking up my emotional, physical and spiritual energy. Whether the novel is good or terrible doesn’t matter – what does matter – is that it is a salve for my grief.

Chocolate is one of my favorite things. If I asked my closest friends to describe me – they generally include, “she loves chocolate”…

Chocolate raises serotonin levels in the brain – it literally makes you feel good/happy.

So this novel and the reason for me joining NaNoWriMo 2009 – is to make me feel better/healthy/happy/positive (so more like myself), hence – chocolate writing.
